Antonis Douroudis
Intern at Museo Spazio Pubblico
Antonis Douroudis is a cultural worker with expertise in architecture, design and museum studies. He holds a diploma of Architect Engineer from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and a master’s in Arts, Museology and Curatorship from the University of Bologna.
During the last few years, he has been a collaborator of Siena Art Institute, co-designing and producing a series of projects related to sustainable and accessible design, community engagement, and artistic research. He is currently based in Greece, re-exploring the local context and planning future projects with a focus on cultural mediation and exhibition design related to social urban history and spatial justice.
Engagement with City Space Architecture:
Antonis has collaborated with City Space Architecture for an internship at Museo Spazio Pubblico, during which he supported the creation of the Public Space Library, and developed a personal project related to some of its books, entitled "From the Page to the Public Space". This project was presented to the public of Bologna during the inauguration of the Library (May 2024) and to the international community of museum scholars and practitioners at the "ICOM CAMOC-COMCOL 2024 Annual Conference".
