Mr Biligt Altankhuyag is a lecturer in the Department of Architecture at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, and is the founder of Nomadic Space Lab. He holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s of Science in Architecture and Urban Design, certified by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Part-2 from Politechnika Krakowska im. Tadeusza Kościuszki (Cracow University of Technology), Poland. His research explores inclusivity and adaptability in urban design, conceptualising public space as critical infrastructure for social dynamics and urban governance. He seeks to define a paradigm of responsive, kinetic urbanism, in which the built environment actively adapts to the needs of the community and environmental conditions. He is currently finalising a series of studies targeted for publication. His previous research project focuses on the sustainable development of Ger Areas, addressing the intersection of environmental resilience and social inclusion. He is currently awaiting the publication of three conference proceedings and one research paper. These works are scheduled to appear in high-impact academic outlets, including IOP Publishing, Springer Nature journals, and other international urban studies journals.
