Bruna Bajramovic is a landscape designer and independent researcher with a background in architecture and urban design. For several years, she worked in architectural practice in Europe. She has been awarded a Japanese Government scholarship and moved to Japan where she completed first a Master’s course in environmental design, followed by a PhD course on applied research in sustainable architecture and urban design with a focus on community engagement and heat island mitigation in the context of mass housing settlements. While doing research, she worked as a research and teaching assistant for several years at Kobe Design University to again resume work as a designer, currently working on a variety of urban and landscape projects at the landscape design office located in Osaka city, Japan.
