Eglė Pilipavičiūtė is a Lithuanian architect and urban planner currently working with the Global Designing Cities Initiative, where she focuses on developing global guidance for street transformations that foster safer, healthier, and more inclusive urban environments. She is passionate about urban regeneration, streetscapes, and public space. Eglė’s professional experience spans both top-down and bottom-up planning and research. She has worked as a planner at WSP Finland on multidisciplinary projects for new area developments, contributed to community-driven urban regeneration initiatives with Interazioni Urbane in Rome, and participated in interdisciplinary public-space education through the Public Space Academy by City Space Architecture. She has also practised as an architect at Erdvės Norma, working on the restoration and reconstruction of listed heritage sites in Lithuania. Eglė holds a master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Studies and Planning from Aalto University in Finland.
