Francesca Mazza is an Italian licensed Landscape Architect based in Milan, Italy. She is specialised in sustainable landscape design and nature-based solutions with a focus on biodiversity and ecosystem regeneration. She has experience working on urban and rural projects across Spain, the Netherlands, Italy and Belgium, combining territorial analysis and innovative design with sensitivity to diverse cultural and ecological contexts. Her academic journey includes advanced degrees in Landscape Architecture from TU Delft, as well as architectural studies at USI – Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio and IUAV in Venice, reflecting a strong interdisciplinary foundation in architecture, landscape design, and urban planning. Her commitment to research, critical writing, and practical application enables her to advocate for sustainable solutions that address environmental challenges, while her analytical and creative skills ensure a thoughtful and comprehensive approach to each project.

Engagement with City Space Architecture:

Francesca's engagement with City Space Architecture includes participating in the Public Space Academy and contributing as a speaker to the round table discussion at the 2025 Biennial of Public Space in Rome.
