Member and Early-career Advisor on Public Space
Ksenija Martinovic is an urban policy researcher and project officer with a multidisciplinary background in public governance, institutional reform, community development, and urban policy. She holds an MSc in Public and Urban Policy from the University of Glasgow. Ksenija also earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Montenegro and completed an academic exchange at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, experiences that shaped her holistic and interdisciplinary approach to urban issues. Her professional works span multiple international contexts, including Trieste, London and Washington, leading analysis, reporting, institutional and policy reform projects. She worked in civil society organisations in Montenegro with a focus on community development, employment and social innovation. Her research interests include post-socialist urban development, public space governance, including smart cities, regeneration policies and community development. She is committed to advancing inclusive, people-centred policies and urban environments through interdisciplinary and international collaboration.
