Michele Liparesi (Bologna, 1986) lives and works in Bologna, Italy. His interest in sculpture began during his studies at an art high school and later led him to graduate from the Academies of Fine Arts in Bologna and Florence. Liparesi’s artistic approach is grounded in an emotional need to explore space. His work, often created using recycled and repurposed materials, invites reflection on the relationship between environment and time, and on the fragility of our perception of both. Alongside his personal visual research, he works on private and public commissions and is a co-founder of the artist collective TIST – This Is So Temporary.
