Rozina Spinnoy is Scottish, based in Brussels, holding an Honours BSc in Interior Design/Architecture from Glasgow Caledonian University and TEI Heraklion, Crete. With a career spanning over 25 years, she has worked across finance and the global corporate Hospitality sector in EMEA. Over the last decade, she has focused on launching organisations and working as a Design Strategist and Social Entrepreneur, designing inclusive communities. Rozina is the Founder of Design2Style (SME), Belgium Design Council, and Director and Co-Partner of NGO BIDS Belgium. She works internationally on Inclusion, Social Design, Urban Placemaking, and community projects. She is an Advisory Board Member of the Flemish Community Commission for Diversity, Inclusion & Community, and a Community Partner of the European Commission’s New European Bauhaus initiative. She founded inclusive education programs for schools with intellectual disabilities and mainstream education, and initiatives like ‘Empowering Women and Public Space’ and Women 100 (W100). She is the Belgian Lead for Placemaking Europe Network and co-founder of Project Global Impact accelerator. Rozina has contributed as an expert and facilitator for institutions including the British Council, EU Development Days, Dundee University, and Ljubljana Faculty of Design. She has served as a Jury Member for the New European Bauhaus Awards and the SIT Furniture Design Awards 2021. Her work champions gender equality, inclusion, diversity, mental health awareness, and co-design, combining strategic design with social impact across communities.
