SriPallavi (Pallavi) is a research consultant and urban planner with over 12 years of cross-sectoral experience across India, Australia, and the United States. Her work analyses complex urban systems and explores how people interact with them through an intersectional and interdisciplinary lens. She is also the co-founder of the Climate Threads Collective, which works to make local knowledge and diverse perspectives more visible in climate-related discussions. Pallavi’s focus areas span gender and cities, gender-transformative planning, everyday mobility, climate change impacts, climate migration, migrant belonging and urban safety. She has proven expertise in research design and implementation, participatory research methods, stakeholder engagement, and developing knowledge products. She is committed to working collaboratively to create a more just, inclusive, and resilient urban future. Pallavi holds a PhD in Urban Analysis and Development and Urban Design from the University of Melbourne and a master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
