Member and Early-career Advisor on Public Space
Vasiliki (Vassia) Fragkaki is a PhD candidate at the Department of Architecture at Roma Tre University (IT), with a research project on the relationship among the City and Mental Well-being. She holds a Master’s in Territorial Planning and Urban Design from the University of Thessaly (GR) and a second master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Florence (IT), as well as a post-graduate degree in Sustainable Architecture (Escola Superior Artística do Porto & Critical Concrete, 2023). She is an early-career board member of the non-profit association City Space Architecture – partner of the UN-Habitat and member of the research group for the “We-Z project, Emotional Wellbeing of Generation Z: Reconnecting Communities and Spaces through Imperfect Health” (EUI-IA 2024–2027), in support of the New European Bauhaus initiative. Her research interests focus on: urban well-being, socio-spatial justice, common spaces, care infrastructures, commoning architectures, urban political geography
